Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli Piacentini (Wine and Flavour Route of the Piacenza Hills) is a non-profit, voluntary association founded on 25th February 2000 with the aim of promoting the historical, cultural, environmental, economic and social identity of the Piacenza wine area.

The Association is made up of private members (wineries, delicatessens, dairies, oil mills, agritourism businesses, B&Bs, restaurants, hostels), public and institutional bodies (Provincial Administration, Chamber of Commerce, Local Authorities), trade associations and protection consortia.

The aim of the Association is to develop an integrated tourist offer based on the quality of products and services, the promotion of wine and agricultural production, agri-food activities and food and wine specialities, products and services, within the framework of an eco-sustainable economy and the natural, historical, cultural and environmental attractions along the route.

Quality is guaranteed by the adoption of informative signs and the respect of quality standards by each individual enterprise.
